Using Backgrounds Creatively

One of the most powerful features of PhotoBiz templates is the ability to upload your very own background image into your website.  This simple maneuver allows you to dramatically change the look and feel of your template, and deliver an emotional connection you want with your images.

Backgrounds can be in a variety of different styles, from the subdued and understated, to the outlandish and spectacular.  Keep in mind that you never want your background to take away from your photographs, which are the focal point of your website.

Your Passionate PhotoBiz Team

This photo was taken soon after our most recent “Summer Fun Day” held at our offices.  Everyone was tired from the Rock Climbing, Jousting and Bull Riding!  We had a great time with a live band and water slides to entertain all of the employees and their families!

The PhotoBiz team and culture is unlike any other and we wanted to take this opportunity to show you some of the members of our passionate team behind the phones.  Almost the entire PhotoBiz team is located in Greensboro, North Carolina in two beautiful old buildings downtown.  We also have a Flash team that works out of our Chapel Hill, North Carolina office (just about an hour away).

PhotoBiz Template Photo Blog: “Alexandria”

Facebook Growth 101

One of the major driving forces to our growth on Facebook has been the contests and giveaways that we regularly hold. Whether it’s a complimentary photo session to our 3,000th fan, a ‘cutest kid’ contest, or an opportunity to be a high school senior representative, contests and promotions never fail to broaden our fanbase and create new customers. Take the example of the ‘cutest kid’ contest; We had a HUGE response to this contest, and the winner received a free photo session. The key, though, lies in the fact that the voting was based on how many “likes” a given photo received. Naturally, parents were quick to spread the word to family members, neighbors, and friends, all of whom were required to become a fan of ours in order to vote, thus broadening our fanbase and creating future customers who otherwise may have never heard of us.
