Meet The PhotoBiz Blogger!

Hi, My name is David and I will be your personal PhotoBiz Blogger. I am hoping to get to know you a bit better and inform you on what is going on in your industry. You can expect to read some great articles researched and written by industry professionals. As you know, we pride ourselves in offering passionate support and guaranteed satisfaction that is among the top in the industry. This is just another way for us to say, “How can we help you?”

I have one goal in mind while writing articles, “Keep It Simple.” I don’t want things to be confusing, yet I want to give a full clear picture on each subject. I am more of a visual person myself and try to bring that into my writing as well.

I have a background in entrepreneurial development and my goal is to help you become more successful. Now I’m not a photographer, but you all own a small business, right? So I guess that is where we will drift in conversation.  We have a team of experts here that will all be contributing to articles and advice for you as well.

I am in the process of turning my lifelong obsession and hobby of photographing life into my primary business. I was so lucky to find photo biz because it helped me get organized and figure out a philosophy and name for my business. I came to your site and looked through all the featured photogs and read about them and it gave me hope, drive and inspiration. I am still working out the ordering kinks but I have done 6 shoots already as a result of my new website and it showcases my work beautifully. I have also procured a permanent gig shooting at the local children’s museum with the ability to use my site as a portfolio during my interview! I can’t wait to see where this leads me and I think being a featured photographer would give me exposure and also lend inspiration to other photographers who are shy to go into business but who would benefit so much from taking the leap!

@April- I would try out the free blogs like Wordpress or Blogger. They are pretty easy and you can get a template to give you the “pretty” look that you would like. I would start by searching Google and Bing for blog templates to find the right one. Have fun and play with it for a while before you start to tell people about it. You want to be comfortable with the software before you build a following. Welcome to PhotoBiz!
