In this article I will show you how to drastically increase the amount of readable text content on your PhotoBiz website – regardless of Flash or HTML template. Not only will this be a fun (and easy!) exercise, but you will exponentially increase the amount of text available for crawling by the search engine spiders.

For a long time the consensus on the internet has been that Flash websites are nearly invisible to search engines – and owning a Flash website is essentially guaranteed doom in the SEO realm.

While that may have been sort of true a few years ago, a LOT has changed and this just simply is NOT true anymore…not at all.

Keep in mind, these instructions are specifically meant for the folks out there who have PhotoBiz websites. Whether you have a Flash website or HTML, this article applies to both!

These days everyone is talking about SEO (search engine optimization).  Its become the new marketing buzzword.  Google is the next Yellow Pages.  It used to be whoever had the biggest add got all the calls.  Now its whoever appears high in Google.  The only problem is there is only a few spots at the top and everyone wants it.  I can’t promise everyone first place rankings, and there is no magic formula.  What I can give you are some tools I used to reach the top.  If you want to rank well in google for photographers in your area you are going to need to spend time on this.  It took me 5 months to reach number one for “Ottawa wedding photographer” and I spent at least a couple hours a week working on this.  The larger the area you are trying to rank high in the more competition and the more work will be required.  You are not competing against Google you are competing with whoever ranks higher than you.
