PhotoBiz partners with the Center for Visual Artists to create urban artwork!

As a company, PhotoBiz works with the creative community on a daily basis and as such we’ve been able to see that as programs and funding for the Arts is cut, our community is affected. More often than not, these problems seem overwhelming as individuals, yet as a group we have much more power to overcome these issues and work as a team to make our community a better place. As such, PhotoBiz has been working on ways to expand our involvement in our community, and recently we partnered with The Center for Visual Arts (CVA) in our local area to create a painted mural near the PhotoBiz Corporate Offices to celebrate PhotoBiz’s collaboration with CVA.
The mural was designed by local graffiti artist and teacher, Houston Patton. It featured not only an array of iconography relating to PhotoBiz and what we do, but also illustrations of a variety of graphic and fine art mediums. The result was a painted representation of the power of collaborative art within the community.

To celebrate, PhotoBiz and CVA hosted a community painting day event where friends and family of PhotoBiz employees and members of CVA came together and helped paint the mural. The event was marked by lots of fun, lots of paint, and an overall spirit of community involvement and togetherness. We’re excited about the outcome of our first collaboration with CVA, and can’t wait to see how our partnership will flourish in the future! Enjoy the photos!
