Introducing Mini-Sites!

PhotoBiz is introducing a new Product called Mini-Sites!  Break out and be unique.  Be innovative in your market by being the first to introduce a Mini-Site to your customers!

What are they?
A Mini-Site is a “mini” version of your PhotoBiz Flash Website.  It comes with the following pages:  Home, Our Story, Event Details, Guestbook (with internal mail system), Contact/RSVP, Unlimited External Links and Links pages.

Who can you use these for?
These are built with any event in mind.  For Example:  Wedding Planners, Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s, Baby Sessions, Wedding Photographers just to name a few…  Let’s say that John and Mary are getting married.  You can have a domain name that states “JohnandMarry.YOURDOMAIN.com” that will point to their own website.  They can send all of their family and friends to this website that is dedicated to their special event.  By no means is the use of these Mini-Sites limited to the use of only events, so be creative and find a unique way to use theses yourself!

How does it work?
You can allocate any number of photos from your monthly plan to each individual Mini-Site.  Your customers can access their brand free Mini-Site’s control panel and make changes through a similar drag and drop control panel that you use for your flash site.  They can upload their text and photos, link to their registry, link to your ordering system, etc…  They will get to choose 1 of 8 different flash designs that will match thier event the best.  You determine how long it stays online, and let them control it.

What’s in it for YOU, the photographer?
This is free advertising!  When you provide this for your customers, they will share it with all of their family and friends (*With your Logo and Branding!*)  This will allow you to expand your visibility by utilizing your existing customer base.  The set-up is only a one-time fixed cost giving you unlimited Mini-Sites.  Every package that you include this Mini-Site to is going to create extra revenue for you.  It will also add value for your clients in each and every package.  It comes with its own knowledge base so that you don’t have to deal with building it for them.  Ask yourself, “What am I doing that makes me different or unique”?  Don’t have the answer? - PhotoBiz Does!

    Andy,

We appreciate the compliment on our awesome new Mini-Sites. I spoke to the execs here at PhotoBiz in regards to the $35/ mo. plan, no guarantees but it will sure be under consideration. Also, I checked with my superviser on offering you the deal of $95 for Mini’s. The price should be going up momentarily but give me a call if it changes before you are able to upgrade your account.

    Best,

Like the idea but the mini sites will eat into the number of photos of our monthly plan. Also a $175.00 setup fee is way too high. These mini sites will end up forcing photobiz customers to upgrade their accounts. This will increase revenue for photobiz. Do you really need to charge a $175 setup fee? I think the setup fee will deter some photographers from signing up. When photographers use these mini sites, they will have to upgrade their accounts to support all of their customers needs. That revenue increase should be enough of an incentive for photobiz. The $175.00 set up fee is just not necessary.

I agree with Rhett…$175 may make sense for a wedding photographer since the dollars earned on weddings is greater than other photographers, like portrait photographers. BUT…that price doesn’t work for everyone.

How about staggering the price per number of images uploaded? Instead of a set up fee, why not charge per image so the photographer can control their mini session budget. OR, better yet, give the photographers the option to pay a one time set up fee OR “per image”. That might even entice photographers to try it out more readily.
I think a fair price is $1 to $2 an image. That way, The photographer can make a BEST OF mini site…that suits his or her budget and pleases the client.
