Luxor Template
Building off of the incredibly unique template “Cairo”and its stacked shuffle transition, we would like to introduce another exciting template packed full of features, “Luxor”! You will notice many of the same features as “Cairo”, however, there are some distinct differences that I will showcase in the following screen shots of our brand new “Luxor” template!
One thing that you will notice throughout all of the screen shots here is the versatility of Luxor. Completely Customizable Background, Icon Bank (displayed in the lower right of this template), Industry’s BEST Search Engine Optimization, and our innovative color customizing options are all part of our drag and drop control panel available to you anytime! *Note: Our icon bank will not be available until December 7th, 2010.
Looking at these first few screen shots, two of the most obvious difference you will see are the background customization and the size of the image area in comparison to the overall layout. This is NOT zoomed in, it is actually a feature inside your drag and drop control panel that allows you to control the “border padding” of your template. By adding this border padding, your images will take up less space in the layout and show more of your background.
Another unique feature of Luxor are its minimalistic features. Your images are kept inside a thin (color customizable) border with rounded corners. These round corners are taken through the rest of the template through the navigation bar and the menu options available in the gallery (shown below)
(Above) you will see an example of the “gallery” page that comes with Luxor. You will notice that there are no thumbnails, which is similar to the previous “Cairo” template. Color shifting is used to compliment the images here and shows up in the gallery controls and the navigation bar to the left. The gallery controls allow you to: play, pause, move forward an image and move back and image. Further, is displays the number of photos in that particular gallery (i.e. 1/10, 2/10, 3/10, etc…)
Even though our templates dynamically re-size to fit all of your clients monitors, some people are still concerned with having a navigation bar on the bottom of the template. With Luxor, you won’t have to worry because we have moved this over to the left hand side. Further, when you click or hover over one of the menu items, the drop down menu appears directly to the right.
One of the most unique differences with Luxor is it’s transition that it uses for your images. It is different from any other because your images come and go from the bottom right corner. They are still stacked similar to “Cairo”, however, the actual transition is quite different!
Lastly, below you will see a quick shot of the loading symbol. It again uses the minimalistic approach with rounded corners and a thin border to coordinate with the overall design of Luxor. The colors are completely customizable!
When Will Luxor Be Released?
Luxor is available NOW for all current PhotoBiz customers. One of the benefits of cloud computing is the fact that once we release it, it is automatically available to our clients in their control panel; and then they can make the switch with 1 click of their mouse.
