Milan Template
The PhotoBiz Team has had a great time introducing templates from Italy! We started in Florence and then took a quick trip to Venice. Both of these templates turned out absolutely beautiful; but Yes, we have saved the BEST for last. Rounding out our Italian template splurge, we are taking our final stop in Milan. We brought along Featured Photographer John Edgar to display some of his stunning shots in the new Milan Template!
Milan is built along the same concept structure that both Florence and Venice were built on. The elegant layout is based on a clean “minimalistic” design with a horizontal layout. With the logo placed to the side (left or right) the navigation bar is cleanly placed just off of your photos to provide a dynamic viewing area with little to no distractions.
A common feature that you will notice is the sleek color shifting ability. I would recommend a .PNG transparent logo so that you can take full advantage of the color shifting effect. This means that as your images transition, you can have the colors “shift” and change colors to coordinate with predominate colors in each image (or ANY color you wish). This is a rare, yet powerful customization!
Now for the features that make Milan unique! You will notice a very functional feature with the new navigation bar that includes a “roll-over” effect. This means that as you simply roll your mouse over each navigation tab (i.e. Home, Information, Galleries), the drop down menu will automatically appear without having to click on it. As far as the design, you will notice a drop shadow and rounded corners for stylish look.

Very nice template! Are the SEO features of this template any different from other templates?
The SEO features are the same for all of our templates. This enhances our seamless “one click” transition from template to template.
WOW! You have definetly been busy with creating new web design. I love all of the latest designs you have made available. However, I just changed my design to one of your other newer web design and like it a lot right now so I think I’m going to stick with it for a while longer. I do like where you are going with the full-screen design and will consider one of the new designs when I’m ready for a change.
I do have a suggestion I’d like to share. I would love to have the ability to leave notes on the calendar. I am currently offering portrait sessions for High School Seniors and wedding photography services. The current set up with the calendar will only show that the day is booked. However, I schedule more then one client if I’m scheduling senior portraits. Therefore, I would like to be able to indicate that I still had appointments available even though some of my time is booked on a particular date. It would be great if we had a pop-up option for each calendar day that would allow more information to be stored. Something to think about.
LOVE the new template! I’ve been waiting for the right one to make the switch.
However, I’m always SO bummed with the size restrictions for the logo. Anyway, we can make that 250 x 150 logo space even bigger? The space allows for it, right? :)
