PhotoBiz Adds More…

PhotoBiz has been working extra hard behind the scenes to offer some great new features for your current products.  We have implemented some great new features to both the Flash Websites and our Online Proofing and Ordering Systems.

Remember, every time that we make a change or add a new feature; It’s Free and automatically updated.  This is through Cloud Computing which is a great benefit of being with PhotoBiz!  If you’re not sure exactly what this is, be sure to check back to our previous V-log (Video/Blog) on “Cloud Computing”.

Custom Splash Logo:  The splash page is the static page that comes up before your flash website.  Before, if you had a logo in your Flash Website, this logo would also appear on your splash page (If enabled).  Now, you can have one logo on the splash page and a different logo in your website.  This will provide you more options in customizing your look and your brand online.

Custom Messages for Categories:  In the Shopping Cart, you can now have custom messages created for each and every category.  This allows you to provide your customers with a more personalized message.  With a wedding, you may want them to know that if they order in the next week they will be getting a 10% discount.  On the other hand, with your portraiture clients, you may want them to know that you are offering them a referral bonus for sending you clients that book a session.  Having customizable messages for each category allows you to personalize these events and optimize your client’s online experience.

Category Specific Products:  Have you ever had a line of products that only apply to one category of events?  For example, you may have albums that apply to your wedding clients and albums that apply to your seniors.  Instead of sending all clients to an album category of products, you can now target your clients to a customized product just for them!  This makes it easier for your clients and optimizes their buying experience.  If you have any particular product that you only want to be viewed by a category of events, i.e. Weddings, Seniors, Portraits, etc…; Now you can!

Custom Check-out Options:  PhotoBiz is expanding your options at the Final Check-out phase in the Shopping Cart.  Often, you may want to have a special message appear in the section.  Also, you may want to have fields of information that are required to be filled out.  Here is one scenario:  If you do school photography, you may want the orders to have their teacher’s name on the order to make the delivery process easier and less confusing.  Now, you can customize a message for them, add a field that says “teachers name”, and require it to be filled out before proceeding.  These are now customizable features that you can use with the PhotoBiz Shopping Cart!

Order Viewing Options:  After a customer places an order, it will send you an email of the order and also keep a record of this order in a section of the control panel.  You may want to see a really detailed view of this with thumbnails of the pictures and everything; however, you may only want to only see the important information.  You now have more options in viewing your orders which will assist you in the fulfillment process.

All of these are all now available for your use with the PhotoBiz Products.  Free of charge and with no updating necessary by you, these updates are already enabled through Cloud Computing.  To give you a sneak peak on the next V-log, be prepared for something really exciting!  This is something that we have been highly anticipating and will really give you a unique edge…embedded video!
