First, I’d like to thank you all for your questions and feedback after our last post. We are getting more and more excited as each day passes! Today’s post is going to cover Products and Packages, as well as a brand new feature, Services. Keep in mind, you are able to rename these sections to whatever works best for your business – if you’d prefer to call packages “Collections,” no problem!

Layouts

For products, packages and services, you are able to separate items into different categories, as well as choose from various page layouts. The three layouts available (standard, list and compact) are displayed below. *Click Image to View Larger

Packages

In the new store, you will be able to create both fixed and flexible packages for your customers to choose from. Fixed packages allow you to designate a quantity of specific sizes (i.e. two 5x7s and one sheet of wallets). Flexible packages offer the ability to sell by the sheet or other specific method you decide on.

After a package has been added to their cart, your customer can choose to continue shopping, add images to their package, or view their cart:

Products & Services

The products and services areas of your store boast some exciting new upgrades to the functionality in the current cart system. First, you now have separate areas for products and services! This allows you to break your services into different categories, a feature that was not available before. This is an excellent area to collect session fees, workshop registrations, etc.

Second, you are able to upload up to 10 images per product and service! The number of images displays above the default image, with a thumbnail appearing upon rollover. The images also display much larger than before, as seen below. In addition to the 10 photos per product/service, you can also upload one photo per sub-option for each!

Similar to packages, after a product or service is added to the cart, your customer can choose to continue shopping, add images (if required), or view their cart.

Menu

Finally, one of our favorite areas of the new store is the flexible menu system! You can now choose to link to almost any page on your store directly from the menu! You can link to a single product, to a category, or to all products.
