May is blooming with great new updates that make it easier to see your schedule at a glance and quickly update Proofing and Ecommerce products with new bulk actions.
Scheduler Calendar Feed
First, the PhotoBiz Scheduler tool has a brand new enhancement available today. You can now integrate your appointments directly into your daily calendar tools. If you use Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook Calendar, you can now have your appointments feed directly to your calendar from your PhotoBiz Scheduling tool.
How to set up the feed link:
Setting up the feed link is simple. Log into your PhotoBiz control panel and from the left side menu click on the Scheduler tab. Next, in the top menu click Calendar Feed. You will be given a code to copy and paste into your calendar of choice.
Note: This is a one-way sync, any changes you make in your personal calendar will not be reflected in your PhotoBiz Scheduler. The feed includes dates up to a year in the future.
Let me show you how this works using Google Calendar. Open your Google Calendar from a web browser (Chrome is best for this), and click the + icon next to Other Calendars. You will be given a few options, select From URL. In this section, paste your feed link from your PhotoBiz Scheduler dashboard, then click Add Calendar. Now your PhotoBiz Scheduler will be active on your personal calendar.
Note: If you use Google Calendar, the appointments won’t instantly display. Google syncs hourly, so it may take up to 12 hours for it to appear. Apple Calendar should automatically appear after a refresh.
Now you can see your appointments with even more ease. If you need to cancel or change your events on your calendar that were generated by the PhotoBiz Scheduler, please make those updates in your PhotoBiz Scheduler control panel. The updates will sync from there to the calendar but not from the calendar to the PhotoBiz platform (it is a one-way sync).

Bulk Actions for Proofing & Ecommerce
Our next enhanced feature allows you to make fast adjustments to multiple galleries or products in PhotoBiz Proofing and Ecommerce. This new Bulk Action feature lets you make adjustments in many ways.
For Proofing:
Select the events you want to make adjustments to, then click Bulk Actions.
In this menu you are given options to:

change the expiration date,
-
select a price list for the selected events,
-
allow download options, and
-
choose the default resolution for the selected events.
You can apply changes to multiple events at a time (just remember to click apply changes).
If you don’t want to make changes to specific options in these events, you also have the option to select No Change.
For Ecommerce:
The new Bulk Action feature applies to Ecommerce products. You can select all the items you like to change in bulk, here you can:

change the price,
-
choose to charge taxes, shipping, additional shipping costs, and
-
set the status of products (e.g., active).
When you’ve made your updates, remember to click apply changes. If you don’t want to make changes to specific options for these products, select No Change.
This new feature will make bulk updates to products and Proofing galleries a breeze.
