Photographer Vince Maiello needed a new website for his business, Tin Roof Photo. Vince specializes in capturing the unique look and style of his clients. But his website wasn't doing the same for his own portfolio.

Vince was stuck using a hard-to-use, expensive website service. "Our old site is not conducive to our brand, image and client base", Vince told us. It was time for a change.

That's when Tin Roof Photo came to PhotoBiz.

One of our in-house web designers, Kristi C called Vince and walked though the websites he listed as his inspiration for a redesign. "Most clients send me the things they think they want, Kristi explained. "And it's not really what they want. It's more-so like a guideline of the kind of style they like."

So with every project Kristi goes beyond what a client thinks is possible for their brand, while adhering to their guidelines and tastes.

Vince and Kristi chose the Photobiz template "Lombard Street" as a starting point. From there Kristi incorporated metallic stripes into the background and other elements of the page to keep with the Tin Roof branding of the company.

Tin Roof Photo shoots weddings, but also portraits and seniors. With their old site it was hard to tell that the company shot anything other than weddings. So, to represent all of the the Tin Roof Photo's services Kristi created spaces at the bottom of the design for each of their specialties.

When Kristi sent the site to Vince he immediately saw that it wasn't what he asked for. Actually it was better than what he expected!
