Here at PhotoBiz, we have a few traditions that we all look forward to every year. One of these traditons is called Rocktober.

What in the world is Rocktober?

Rocktober is spearheaded by our Internet Yoda (and resident rock and roll expert) John K. On a daily basis, we communicate internally via chatting online. It may seem a little AIM-esque, but it works great as we need to get in touch with other people in different areas of the building.

Every day in October, John starts his day by putting a "theme" as his chat status.

The challenge?

With the theme in mind, each of us finds a song that relates to the theme and posts a link in our own chat status. With themes ranging from hair bands to patriotic jams, we manage to run the gamut of music in October's 31 days.

Is it really THAT fun?

Abso-stinking-loutely! It's been a great way for our crew to learn about each other in an unobtrusive way. And, as a perk, we create a Spotify playlist of all the Rocktober songs at the end and share with everyone!
