Our Original Files Premium Upgrade has been a popular addition to the PhotoBiz platform since we introduced it in 2020. It provides the option to upload large digital files to sell, share, or store. We’ve made it even better – we’ve increased the maximum file size capacity for Original Files from 25MB to 50MB.

What does that mean for Original Files users?

You can still upload images at your desired dimension and DPI size, but the file size is no longer capped at 25MB. With this add-on feature, you can now upload files up to 50MB (they can be any height or width and DPI resolutions).

Note: The increased file size capacity only applies to new images uploaded. Images uploaded before this update will not change. You can easily identify "original files" in your account by looking for the OR identifier tag on images.

Why the increase?

Technology rapidly evolves, and resolutions are constantly changing (and increasing). As the average digital image file size is increasing, we’ve increased the file size capacity of Original Files so you can sell your best images at the best resolutions possible.

What size file can I upload without Original Files?

All PhotoBiz users can still upload files that are 4MB or less. This file size is great for displaying images on your website, as well as selling digital files for use on the web or for prints (up to 11x17 inches).

Who should use Original Files?

If you want to sell really high-resolution digital files to your customers, then you’ll want this Premium Upgrade. Many current users of Original Files also use this feature to back up or store their files. It makes it really easy to share the best files when requested or purchased.
